The demolition of the Nassau County Cricket Stadium in New York, specially built for the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup, has begun.
New York Arena was briefly worked for World Cup matches. Nassau Area Arena facilitated 8 matches of the T20 World Cup, including the India-Pakistan match.
However, after the World Cup matches, the demolition of the Nassau County Cricket Stadium in New York has begun and the stadium, which was built in 6 months, will be completely finished in August 2024.
However, the four drop-in pitches in the stadium will not be eliminated.
It should be remembered that on June 9, 2024, the stadium hosted the Pakistan-India match, while the match between India and USA in the first phase of the World Cup was the last match played at Nassau County.
At a cost of Rs 250 crore, the stadium was constructed at Eisenhower Park in Nassau.
