Thousands of people participated in Jamaat-e-Islami’s Gaza Million March in Karachi and the air echoed with the slogans of Labeek or Aqsa.
The Gaza Million March was held at the nursery on Shariah Faisal in Karachi, in which Majlis Wahdat Muslim (MWM) leaders, minority representatives, people from various sectors including civil society expressed solidarity with the people of Palestine and the resistance movement Hamas.
The spirit of the women and children in the Gaza Million March was palpable.
On the occasion of the march, the atmosphere echoed with the slogans of Labak or Al-Aqsa, the participants paid their respects to the Palestinian martyrs and resisters. Speaking on the occasion, Amir Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan Hafiz Naeemur Rehman said that Karachi has again proved their hearts. Beating with Gaza, Karachi has many problems but the city is alive.
He said that there was a wave in favor of Palestine at the international level, Israel is bombing the refugee camps because the US is on its back, but Hamas will not back down. .
He said that Quaid-e-Azam had categorically said that Israel is an illegitimate state, Palestinians are not ready to accept defeat, Pakistani rulers should also show courage.
Speakers at the Gaza Million March demanded the United Nations to play an effective role in bringing about a ceasefire.
