Riyadh: Due to the extreme heat wave in Saudi Arabia, the Friday sermon and prayer time in Masjid al-Haram and Masjid an-Nabawi (PBUH) have been reduced.

According to the Arab media, due to the intense heat, the Friday sermon and prayer will be 15 minutes long in Masjid al-Haram and Masjid Nabawi, while the Friday sermon in the United Arab Emirates has also been limited to 10 minutes.

Emirati authorities say that protecting human lives from extreme heat is a priority.

It should be noted that the temperature in the desert areas of the Emirates has reached 50 degrees Celsius in summer.
