Since October 7, 2023, 21,000 Palestinian children have been reported missing from Gaza.
According to Al Jazeera’s report, Save the Children, an international organization that works for children’s rights and welfare, says that thousands of children who are missing as a result of the Gaza war are either buried under the rubble of destroyed buildings or buried in a collective. They have been buried in a grave or they have been arrested and taken away by Israeli soldiers.
A representative of Save the Children says that these thousands of children were separated from their parents during the war and an unknown number of children were forcibly disappeared and taken out of Gaza where they are being mistreated.
According to the representative of the organization, it is difficult to collect and verify information in the war situation in Gaza, but at least 17,000 children have been separated from their families, while 4,000 children are buried under the rubble of houses and buildings.
According to Save the Children, there are also a large number of children buried in mass graves.
