
The International Criminal Court has issued arrest warrants for Russia’s army chief and former defense minister.
According to foreign media, the International Criminal Court has issued an arrest warrant for the Russian army chief and former defense minister for targeting civilians in Ukraine.
According to the court order, the warrants for the two men were issued because the court believes that these two men are responsible for the Russian military targeting the electric infrastructure of Ukraine with missiles, in these attacks from October 10, 2022 to March 9, 2022. By 2023, missile strikes were carried out.
The International Criminal Court found the former defense minister and army chief guilty of war crimes, crimes against humanity and inhumane crimes.
The court has said in its decision that during this period electric power plants and substations established in different regions of Ukraine were targeted by a large number of missile attacks.
