Two far-right ministers and allies of the Netanyahu government have threatened to leave the government coalition and topple the government in the event of a ceasefire agreement with Hamas.
National Security Minister Itamar Bin Ghafir and Finance Minister Bezalel Smutrich, who are part of the Netanyahu government, have threatened Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu that they will leave the government if a ceasefire is reached before the Palestinian resistance organization Hamas is completely destroyed.
Israeli National Security Minister Itamar Ben Ghafir says that we will not be part of any deal without destroying Hamas and returning the hostages.
He said that any compromise without ending Hamas would mean the victory of terrorism and the defeat of Israel.
On the other hand, Israeli opposition leader Yair Lepid has announced to support Netanyahu in case of a ceasefire agreement with Hamas.
It should be remembered that 2 days ago, US President Joe Biden proposed a new 3-phase ceasefire agreement for a permanent ceasefire in Gaza and the withdrawal of the Israeli army. That there are large-scale protests against the Netanyahu government even within Israel.
